Your math stays yours.

• We do not collect any data from the app.
• The app does not use the network. No analytics, no tracking, no third-party code that phones home.
• No ads, and no advertising ID (IDFA on iPhone and iPad, AAID on Android).
• No accounts and no sign-in.

None. Arctic Calculator does not collect, send, sell, rent or share personal data. It has no advertising or analytics SDKs, no accounts, no social features and no cross-app tracking. On Android the app does not even have permission to use the internet.

Your history, saved values, variables, programs, datasets, study cards and settings are stored in a local database inside the app’s private storage. Arctic Falcon Labs never receives them. The app only uses this information to give you its features.

On iPhone and iPad, from version 1.8, Arctic Calculator can show your latest calculations in widgets, on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. To do that, the app writes the text those places display (your latest calculations) and your accent colors to a storage area on your device that only Arctic Calculator and its own widget extension share (an App Group). None of this uses the network, push notifications or a server, and Arctic Falcon Labs never receives it.

The calculator widget, listed as Calculadora in the widget gallery, also keeps in that same storage area what you type into it: the calculation in progress and the last six finished ones. Those calculations reach your CALC history only if CALC repeats them with the same result.

You decide. Show my calculations, under Settings, Privacy and about, Widgets and island, is on by default. If you turn it off, or tap Clear widget data, what the widgets show and what the calculator widget keeps is emptied.

A pinned tape (a Live Activity) starts only when you tap Pin on a result, and it ends when you remove it or after 8 hours. Anything you put on the Lock Screen can be seen while your iPhone is locked.

On iPhone and iPad, from version 1.8, Arctic Calculator offers two actions to Siri, the Shortcuts app, Spotlight and the Action button (on iPhones that have one): Evaluate expression and Convert units. An action runs the app’s own calculator on your device, without opening the app.

The app receives from the system only what the action needs (the expression, or the value and the two units), works out the answer on your device and hands it back to the system. It uses no network, does not save the request or the answer, and does not send them to Arctic Falcon Labs or to anyone else. It does not add your calculations to Spotlight or to Siri’s suggestions.

To follow your settings, the actions read a small record that the app keeps in the same App Group as the widgets: your angle unit, number of digits, number format and language. The record holds settings only, never calculations or history, and the Show my calculations switch does not control it.

Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight are Apple’s. If you speak a request, Siri turns your voice into text under Apple’s own privacy terms (Siri, Dictation & Privacy), and Arctic Calculator never receives your audio. What a shortcut that you build does with an answer (show it, copy it, send it in a message) is up to that shortcut.

• Android: we turned off Android’s automatic backup for this app. Google does not copy the app’s database to your Google account. On a new phone, move your data with the in-app backup described below.
• iPhone and iPad: if you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup for your device, Apple includes the app’s data in it, as it does for most apps. That backup is between you and Apple, and we cannot see it.

In Settings, Your data, Export a backup creates a backup in plain JSON text. It is not encrypted. You choose where it goes in the system share sheet: a note, a file, a message, nowhere. Arctic does not send it anywhere on its own, and anyone who gets that file can read it. To restore, you paste the text back into the app and review it before applying it.

The app reads the clipboard only when you tap Paste, including when you restore a backup. It never reads it in the background or when it opens. It writes to the clipboard only when you tap Copy.

To choose how heavy graphs and 3D can be, the app reads your device model, how much memory it has and whether battery saver is on. It reads this in memory, uses it to tune performance, and never stores it or sends it anywhere. It is not used to identify you.

The app does not need the internet to calculate, solve, draw graphs or save history. On iPhone and iPad, if you tap Rate Arctic or Check for updates, the app opens its App Store page in the App Store. Apple and Google may process store, purchase or diagnostic information under their own privacy terms. Arctic Calculator does not do that processing.

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, it sees a visitor’s IP address when it serves a page. We do not add cookies, scripts or analytics to the site, and the app never visits it.

You can clear your calculation history, SOLVE history and study progress in Settings, Your data. To empty what the widgets keep, use Clear widget data (see Widgets, Lock Screen and Dynamic Island above). Uninstalling the app removes the app and its data from your device. On iPhone and iPad, backups you already made in iCloud stay until you delete them in your iCloud settings.

The app collects no personal data, so it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your data lives in storage that only Arctic Calculator can use (and, for the widgets, its own widget extension), protected by your operating system’s app sandbox. The app does not use the network, so Arctic Falcon Labs has no server that stores your data and there is no connection for anyone to intercept. The app does not download code or content: it changes only when you install a new version from the App Store or Google Play.

The app adds no encryption and no lock of its own. Your data is protected by your device passcode or screen lock and by the operating system, and anyone who can unlock your device can open the app. A backup you export is plain text (see Exporting a backup), so keep it somewhere you trust.

If the app’s data practices ever change, we will update this page and the store privacy declarations before that version is released.
